(Deuteronomy 4:1-14) God commands us to listen to the wisdom and truth He gives us. It doesn’t stop there however. We are also called to follow His commands. One of the keys to listening and following His is to be in the Word.
Now, there have been many days that have passed since I’ve posted on here. I haven’t completely put my devotion time on the back-burner, however I have had a hard time getting up in the mornings which has cut my blogging time down to almost nil. I’m very blessed to have a 20 minutes drive to work which gives me plenty of time to reflect and just have some time alone with God.
The time we set aside to hear what the Lord has to tell us is so important. There is of course another time that is important, and that is the time we give to the Lord to actually put into practice what He has revealed to us. I think the application of His teach is where most of us find it easy to fail.
The question for me today is, “how am I going to put into practice, today, what God has been teaching me?”. How about you?
