(Joshua 2:1-21, Joshua 6:15-25) What stood out to me today was how this story showed both how the Isrealites were faithful to the promise made to Rahab, but ultmiately how this also showed an example to God’s faithfulness to fullfill the promise He made to give the Isrealites this land.
The promises made between Rahab and the spies were both honored, they both stuck to the promises they made. This is the example we are also to live by. When we make promises we are to always make good on those promises, this is our witness as Christians. God has given us the ultimate example of faithfulness to a promise. He promised salvation and delivered it at great cost.
